This Privacy Policy describes how zhouzk.com SEO Tools (the “Application”), operated by Eric Zhou (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you authorize the Application to access your Google account. The Application is a personal administrative tool used to operate and improve zhouzk.com. It is not a public consumer service and does not serve advertisements.
When you sign in with Google and grant permission, the Application may access the following Google user data through these OAuth scopes:

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the Application’s functionality for operating zhouzk.com, including:
We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, selling to data brokers, creating advertising profiles, or training generalized machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models. We do not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI or ML models.

We do not share Google user data with third parties for targeted advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose other than providing or improving the Application’s functionality.
OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored locally on the operator’s secured computer in ~/.config/zhouzkcom-seo/ with restrictive file permissions. Data transmitted between the Application and Google uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect Google user data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain Google OAuth tokens and locally cached API responses only as long as needed to operate the Application and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You may revoke the Application’s access at any time via Google Account → Third-party apps with account access. After revocation, we will delete stored OAuth tokens on the next maintenance cycle or upon request.
To request deletion of data associated with your Google account, contact us at eric.z.zhou@outlook.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Public pages on zhouzk.com may use standard web analytics (such as Google Analytics 4) to collect aggregated, non-personally-identifying usage data (page views, device type, approximate geography). This is separate from the OAuth Application described above. You can use browser controls or Google’s opt-out tools to limit analytics cookies.
The Application and website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our data practices or Google API usage changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we use Google user data will be reflected here before continued use of the Application.
